UteGuiderna's survival courses are led by qualified instructors at the Defense Survival School. . This allows you to feel safe and that your instructor has a high level of competence, and that the course has the correct content.

Summer Survival

Here you will learn survival skills from scratch. By trying to stay outdoor for four nights and five days, you will learn about everything from edible plants and bivacks, and most important of all: yourself. The whole course is held during six days. The course begins indoor with theoretical knowledge.

All participants are instructed by UteGuiderna's supervisor. The equipment list could be made very thin, you have to prepare yourself for these special days.

Necessary equipment is supplied by UteGuiderna.

Winter Survival

This is intended as a continuation. It is for those who have made our summer training, or has equivalent knowledge from defense Forces survival school or SöS. You learn how to insulate the snow with bivack and how to find food during cold conditions. You have your own tour skis during the course, as required. Again, equipment list is thin.

To make you sure of yourself if something happens during your Winter Tour, creates greater freedom and greater security. The course will be held where we find it appropriate during the current date. Travel costs to be paid by the participant himself.

Survival Weekend

Can you drink this? Can you easily make a fire without matches?

There are many questions you can ask when you're out in nature! Straighten many questions and remove the many myths, by a weekend course in survival techniques with UteGuiderna.

The first days are the most important in a situation. Learn to cope with small means until help can come. You learn very good ways to find water, make fire, bivacks and navigate the terrain.

In this course you learn much about yourself, and how to help others in the group. Think two steps ahead and that you get nothing if you don't work for it.
